I: Terra Engine - Initiation

This track was created in FL Studio 7 (which would be the case for most of the initial Terra Engine albums) in 2007 and released in early 2008. The album description, as indicated by the overblown and pretentious style, was written by me: "Power Ambience : The sound of the oppositional double of mundane existence. Reality is merely energy condensed into many different wavelengths. Power ambience is the aural equivalent of the contemplation and experience of 'undiluted' energy". "Power Ambience" was, and perhaps still is, my most high-minded concept album: the sole intention being a fusion of ambience and noise. These recordings were hugely influenced by Bad Sector and Coil, Time Machines in particular.

Most of the tracks at this time were created using randomized settings on the VST softsynths. This track was created using the Green Oak Crystal VST using no post-processing (at least from what I could remember). Some of the other tracks for "Power Ambience" may have used this synth, but unfortunately I cannot be 100% certain regarding that. The reason for this being, due to having replaced computers at least twice during the last thirteen years. I keep hoping that perhaps one day I will find in a dusty corner the miraculous CD-R that contains all the original source files for these early tracks, but I am not holding my breath.
